I've asked this question because this morning I've been test riding the Ducati Monster 1100S

Basically the same bike but where as mine has just 696cc, this little beauty packs 1100cc and posh suspension :



Took the pictures over Edge's way ( Enfield )



Although 10 registered it had just 47 miles on the clock



So is more better

Well it certainly has a lot more go, it third gear it pulls better than Tiger Woods
Apart from the obvious larger engine capacity, it has a single sided swinging arm and weighs just 5kg more

So is it better than the 696

The performance is better but that makes it a lot more difficult to ride, lots more vibration and very jerky around town
Throw in the extra £3k it costs and for me it's game over, got a couple of alternatives to look at

Well they had one of the last unregistered Ducati Desmosedici RR's in the show room. Didn't ask for a test drive seeing as the sticker price was £46K
Some super trick parts on it, but it doesn't look anything like £46k's worth of bike, not that I'd really know what a £46k bike should look like

So on that Note...

I'm not really a coffee person, or tea so I can't make the choice between "Full-fat" or De-caff.   Although if you apply this to Coca-Cola i'd rather have "Full-Fat" for using as a mixer.
