new grand daughter arrives safely

My daughter, Danielle, gave birth to her first child, and my 6th grandchild, at around 5.05 am this morning - 4.05 pm in Auckland, NZ.

Chloe Annabel is a healthy 7lb 12oz and arrived a full 7 days ahead of schedule, and I am reliably informed by her totally unbiased parents that she is perfect in every way.

I am yet to receive a photograph of the latest female member of my family, who will undoubtedly be able to wrap me around her little finger very soon, but I shall post it on here as soon as one arrives in my possession.

I am now celebrating and I can confirm that her head is indeed very, very wet.
