Seems to understand everything I've tried so far but I would never bother trying to read a phone number to it..

Doesn't seem to have a command to switch to DAB on FM/AM which seem like a bit of an over sight..

Though it's far less effort to move my thumb an inch
The novelty will wear off soon enough... though "Climate" > "De-mist" is fairly dramatic... whoooosh!

Just disappointed "Kit!, super pursuit mode!" doesn't work...

The only thing I hate about the Titanium models is on the estates they have the horizontal chrome trim under the windows.
On a pale coloured car it looks O.K but on a darker coloured one it's enough to stop me buying one - looks stuck-on and tacky !

Mine's still going for the mean time . . . I'm morbidly curious as to when and how she's gonna go . . .

It must have an aux input at least...

Yeah in the glovebox same as the old one.

Yeah not as bad as my old Ghia though that had bits of chrome just randomly dotted all over the place.

I'm after a black estate next so will be opting for another poverty spec just to avoid that trim piece.

There's a guy who's got a new-shape titanium estate in black near the local shop.  First time I saw it I honestly thought he'd added that trim himself.

Looks fine to me

F Body

Ah I see the estate seems to only have the bottom trim

Andy

I saw the Tit X Sport the other day, that I think does away with the silly chrome trim and ups the aggressive look with chin spoilers and ST style grills.

Cunning Plan

Looks good, but there's nasty paint spatter on the front though

Ford always have unusal colours that no other manufacturer have thought of

Andy

Vision blue being the best!

You mean like undercoat Grey

and Clitoris Blue

Andy

Martin, if your clitoris looks that shade of blue, you should get it seen to!

Roadkill

Or maybe it's be "seen to" enough !?

Andy

I'm expecting CP to chirp in with 'Blue waffle', but seeing as he hasn't....

DO NOT GOOGLE AT WORK... Or ever!

Well if someone say's don't do something, your bound to do it

I now really wish that I still didn't know what "Blue Waffle" is, but how the hell did it get called Blue Waffle

You don't have me in here with the inappropriate discussions, no sir, I keep it all sensible.

Well nearly 300 miles put on it now.

The engine is certainly more refined though overall MPG seems to be about the same, a little better around town but so far not quite as good on the motorway.. saying that the A/C's been on for a good chunk of those journeys so the jury is still out.

~50mpg currently 50/50 town/motorway & A-roads.

No really bad comments so far though the steering wheel is a degree or two off center and something strange and slimey/waxy has been split in the boot, covering the entire boot liner... you can't see it but can feel it, tried Vanish carpet shampoo/stain remover but that didn't shift it..

Andy

Does yours have electric steering? That's a fun thing to play with if you ever get bored.

Has a steering column going through the floor..so not drive by wire, if that is what you mean.

Andy

From 2008 onwards Ford fitted electronic assistance steering, it's a regular steering setup but you can adjust the level of feedback and how easy it is to turn the wheel either at speed or in town. Mine has three setting, Comfort Sport and Normal. If you drive up the motorway you really notice the assist kicking in and hindering much wheel movement in sport mode, but stop and change into comfort and it moves a lot more freely about the place.

Incursus

Nope pretty sure it doesn't have that..I've certainly not found a setting or button.

Andy

Think it's on the stalk control (talking from a focus point of view) where on the scroll menu you can go into Settings and the. It has steering. If its not there then it's not fitted.

Incursus

Not fitted then.

Did notice the other night my headlights go cross-eyed when they first switch on..kinda cool..

The corner lights are surprisingly useful on dark country roads as well
