Thanks, Art.

But it appears that is not enough.

If I had access to the forum (and the deleted thread) I could quote what was said.

We offered to make changes - this fell on deaf ears with us being accused of being trouble making and childish . . . . when we were trying to sort this out.

We are we to think ?

We did try, Mate, honestly we did.

As I say, we're open to suggestions . . . all we got was a ban for the BBQ.

We're STILL looking into modifications to it . . . . Alas, this'll never be good enough.

Just in from work

Please bring your BBQ if you wish; as far as AVO is concerned it won't be a problem. If there are any potential issues with the venue, we will do what we can to smooth them over.

The only types of BBQs they don't allow are the 'single use' variety as they may damage the grass and small choldren might burn themselves if they tread on the embers which may still be hot for some time after use.

Can't see yours presenting a hazard TBH

the BBQ was designed as a smoker, but if its in a smoke sensetive area, or if people are botherd y the smoke, all we need to do is lift the lid and it burns clean

amazing how easy a problem can be solved when you actualy talk to people, rather than snipe behind their backs..

Im just looking forward to meeting a specific 2 people at Summer Nats.
