STOLEN: Mk1 Ford Escort - Possible MK Link...

Hi Everyone,

if you're facebook savy, you may have seen a photo of an Orange Mk1 Ford Escort floating around with it being stolen and offering a reward for its return.

It's actually one of my friends cars, and to say they are distraught is an understatement.

The only clue or link they have is the tow vehicle used to take it away. It was towed with a pretty distinct White Vauxhall Astravan 'Sportive' or at least bodykit fitted model.

There has been an MK link to this with someone saying they've seen the exact van in the Shenley Church End area being driven 'like a dick'. Now it could be nothing, but seeing as the guys looking for this are Ruislip based they haven't got a clue what goes on in MK, so I'm asking the residents around there to please keep an eye out for this Van or anyone offering a MK1 or parts from a Mk1 Escort.

Shenley is over the road from me but I don't recall seeing a van like that . . . Will keep an eye open.
