So cold and frosty out their today, best way to warm up is burn a few gallons of Superleaded at 8.7miles per gallon

I took Junior F Body to the Millbrook Proving ground this morning for a pre driving test road safety session

Gotta say she takes after me, whilst some of the other 16 year olds were crawling round the handling circuit in 1st gear in their dual control Micra's, she hit 51mph before the Instructor told her to slow down

The high speed bowl was interesting in the Insignia VXR Estate this morning, just missed out on the top MPH of the day award ?  Basically I was driving like a pussy because of the frost patches so my early morning 147mph was beaten by a later 151mph

If anyone else has a youngster about to start driving, the free courses are run by Bedfordshire Council in partnership with Amey. Covers what look for when buying your first car ( ringers, cut & shut etc ), basic maintenance, what to do if you breakdown or come across an accident, inc basis 1st Aid. Skid pan training and your old man driving like a Loon

its a great idea, our mat has done his theory and is learning to drive, might have to find out if there are any similar courses around here..
