Not wanting to loose anyone a sale but it's not as simple as chucking in a single poly-mount.

Vibration will be amplified at that point alone, as I'm guessing the mounts either end (torque arm and Engine mounts) will be rubber on yours, Martyn ?

I'd be half interested in the clutch as a spare (I have a RAM with ally flywheel) - I'll keep an eye on it . . . do you mind if I ask the reserve ?

I would've bitten your hand off 3 years ago !!!

Re: poly mount - yes vibration can increase with use of a poly mount however they do tend to "break in" according to USA contacts and on an auto (apparently) can help make the shifts more firm.

With regards the reserve - just £50!

Not looking to rip anyone off - just want to recoup a little bit of £££'s (and empty the garage slightly!!

I'd recommend poly-bushing provided you do it right and know what you're in for.

My car is 100% poly-bushed and the motor is solid-mounted . . . It could rattle your fillings out !

I'll keep an eye on the clutch and flywheel . . . . I've got my eye on something else and cash is short so we'll have to see.
