That was Chris's  Plymouth Duster, before he put it in a ditch and found it had tin worm...

That is super nice!

That day if I remember correctly, it decided to turn vegetarian. Also have a 'before' shot of RK Z28.

The 3rd Gen has aged very well

Is that at Rockingham

Andy

Is indeed, AMVO stand that got me a 'strongly worded email' from a former president of the AACI when I posted the photos on their forum.

I think there are a few cars from the club on there.

1972 with a 318ci

I was looking back at all the work I put into that Duster ... I'd kill to have that level of free time now.

I'm still proud of the work I did on that car .... and the tin worm was no surprise.  All Mopars suffer in the same places .... I remember screwing the inner and outer rear quarters together with screws and nuts before fibre glassing it up as it had to be done on a budget.

Happy days.

Rattle can 4 teh win !!!11

Andy

Is there a build thread around for that anywhere?

Roadkill

I don't think so - I think it was a bit before the MKB became independent so we were limited by the AACI.

There are a few pictures on the gallery - not all but a selection.

It was a cool car.  But I would say that.

Indeed, just finding an hour to turn the Mustang over (not literally ) once a week is a challenge let alone a project like that.

Held together better than the "welding" job a previous owner did on the inner wings

I did start a Geocities(?) website many years ago

Roadkill

I reckon you should post up a "post-build" build thread.

I regret not having the shell off you, now.  But it was probably the right choice.

Well pics anyway, the order's looks a bit jumbled though.

Hahaha, I remember all the "deletes" now . . . . Delete door handles, delete door locks, delete truck lock, delete fuel filler, delete front and rear side markers, delete badges . . . . .

Adding the scoops was my single favourite bit.

Remember the test scoop I did out of cardboard ?

yup...pretty sure there is a pic somewhere.

Motorama

I guess its a certain look you are after but the Outlaw style wheel is probably my least favourite of all styles, except maybe white 8 spoke Wellers, lol. I think it looks/will look better with the Torq Thrusts. IMO

If you do buy the Outlaws or anything else for that matter i am still interested in the TTs

And the winner was . . . . . .

The Outlaw II's just looked a little too busy for me . . . .

Note also the new black alloy wheel nuts (should be rust proof) - I think they add a little something to the whole look.

I was also going to say very Mad Max, it looks good.
