No idea how much these things cost, but is this a lot for one of these Magna Flow exhausts?

£608.18...

Apart from RK who seems to live by the motto built no bought, how much would a custom exhaust cost to get made?

Well I did say that I thought it was about the going price IMHO

Because I thinking around £450 two years plus inflation, but upon reflection I think it should be under £500

I've used Pipecraft in Basidon for a couple of custom made exhaust systems, twin outlet custom made mild steel system was about £400

Did you install that yourself or get it installed at a garage?

FUBAR

Installed it myself, twice because it needed 'tweaking'

Wow.  That's a lot.

That picture looks like about 80% off the shelf stuff you could get for about £200 from Jetex.

The tail pipes wouldn't be much of an issue, either.

I reckon £300 and a days' worth of fettling.

And how can they say "all welded" when there's at least 6 joins that need clamping together !?

Rocky

Magnaflow has gone up alot recently. as a UK supplier they have just made it too hard to import them at a good price now.
We mainly work with Stainless works now as no one can compete with their products quality.

Really all I want to just remove the back box and possibly run it like that or with a couple of inline mufflers, but saw this up on eBay.

Roadkill

My back box rusted and fell off the Camaro a few years ago . . . . I drilled a hole in the end, threaded a wire through it and tied it up under the car.

Sounded pretty nice.  Kept it like that for a year or so.
