OBDII Port readers... info?

Hi guys,

After some information about OBD II Port readers. Ideally I'd like to get one for my Focus, but also need one to work with a 4th Gen Camaro.

Can someone tell me if the basic scan tool will do both or do I need specific ones for each car?

1998 Camaro and a 2008 Ford Focus.

The camaro will most likely be using a J1850-VPW interface, while the Focus will be using a CANbus Interface.

Would I need specific interfaces or will just a big standard OBD2 scanner work?

You just need to make sure whatever you get has both listed...
