Good question. As far as I know its intact, but it got pretty toastie under there so i'd have to make sure it was pucker. Aint had the time to start pulling it to pieces yet, but if its any use to someone......

How much would you be looking for, only i'm not overly flush after buying the car.... I would need it pretty quick too (assuming the price is right) I'm not sure how long the patch job will last, and I don't want to get cought out...

Got one for the Fiero for a smige(sp?) over £100 from MK Rads in Stony Stratford. Was a lot cheaper than I could import or get from USauto or JWR.

2years aint good for a rad the plastic must be under stress then?
vibration,overtightening?

mine is the core gone...

either its been punctured by a stone or something (probably the most likely cause TBH)  or one of the solder joints was never made properly and fracured.

first rad cracked the tank - the origional rad in the car

second failure was a bad core, it was an exhange rad from a shady place that claimed it was reconditioned, but in fact had simply been painted (they had even painted over the flies stuck in the core)

that rad was fully rebuilt by a VERY good company, so i can only guess its been punctured, the bottom section of the rad is a bit vunerable in the sport coupe, as its actualy open the the atmosphere.
