new 4 into 1 exhaust for the bike, seems to go quite a bit better from 6 - 10,000 rpm, and sounds nice too - good 80's deep bark.

on the downside, the collector is bigger than the old system, so i've got to play around with the mountings for the belly pan to get it back on.. that can wait for another weekend though.

niiice dude.... no more farting noises.... well, from the bike anyways

dude - it has a really nice deep tone, turning into a banshee wail as the revs pass 7000

its a LOT quicker at the top end, but has lost a little from below 4000, but not much

next on the list is braided brake lines. and the tank re laquering.

philoldsmobile

starting idling accellerating and decelerating it kinda sounds like

Ah but for that you'll be wanting a 1985 Kawasaki GPZ 900 Ninja in red and black...

philoldsmobile

indeedy.. but this is from the same family of bikes...

and yes, every time i get on it i have a 'top gun' moment..

oddly enough, the GPz900 is my desktop right now...

dammit, i LOVE the 80's!
