I know the price of stainless has gone up considerately since I built that one. I have a design for the ultimate toolbox/pitcart which I want to build and I priced out the materials at about $6000. Keep in mind this is 9' long x 70" tall, and 34" deep. It would have it's own onboard electrical system with a stereo system, lighting, and wirelessly operated electro-mechanical linear actuators to open/close the lid and lock/unlock the drawers. I would say the price would be comparable to a Snap On or Craftsman toolbox of that statue.

Especially with those tiny wheels on rough ground.... It really needs some Kart wheels on it.... That would be cool!!!!
