Where I discovered that it was towed away for some reason not stolen... sounds like an Intriguing car...

Didn't want to sign up to the forum at work, but might do it here to point out our presence & invite along to our next meet.
It's the time that we kill that keeps us alive...

FUBAR

PMSL turns out it was our lot (MK Council) who towed it away LOL!

Well done Abandoned Vechiles! always the ones to keep the public happy!

Thanks for the invitation to join you guys,

Your welcome, A big thanks to MK Council for this introduction

Baby_Caddy

PMSL Don't get me started on my thoughts about MKC!

Actually at this stage I really don't care - I'm just so glad to have found it, I thought I'd never see my car again!  They're delivering it to my house today and it's going straight in the garage!!!

What year and model, roadkill on here is the caddy man, he has a 58 sedan

Baby_Caddy

It's a 1962 Deville that's been professionally shortened by 35inches and converted from a hard top to a convertible.  I saw the other Caddy on the Members Pages on your website - very cool looking Caddy if it's the blue one!

Shortened by 35 inches ?

That's some interesting ride you've got there.

And the "Baby Caddy" bit now makes sense.

Baby_Caddy

Yeah, that and the fact it's got the words "Baby Caddy" across the boot!!!

Its just arrived thank God...  Unfortunately it's in a worse state then I remembered so looks like it's going to be quite a job to restore.

Just desperately trying to empty the garage to see if I can fit it in!!!

With 3 feet chopped out it should go i'd imagine?
Have the council Damaged it then?
It's the time that we kill that keeps us alive...

Baby_Caddy

Yeah it does - it's much easier to handle (in my humble pinion) then full size Caddy's.

No the council didn't damage it...  I just hadnt seen it in a few months and had forgotten quite how much work it needed.  It was living in Eaglestone at the house we rent to my 21 year old brother...  I don't think they loved it as much as I did!

My SDV is 18'9" long. - That's the extended deck version.

If yours is reduced by 3' it should fit into any "standard" garage.
