Race For Life in aid of Breast Cancer research

As some of you already know, my Mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on the 29th December.
She has since had 2 operations, a lumpectomy in January and then a mastectomy 4 weeks later.
The only reason it was found was due to Mum asking to be checked as her younger sister was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in June last year.
As Mum turned 50 this year she would have been eligible for free testing, but they have already said that they wouldn't have been testing in her area for another 2-3 years.
This would have been too late.

Because of this I am doing the Race for Life on the 9th July along with 2 friends from work. If you would like to sponsor us please click on this link

My Aunt was given the all clear 2 months ago and is now back at work.
My Mum has had 3 lots of Chemo and has another 3 to go over the next 8 weeks. She has been signed off work for the rest of this year.
Despite all Mum has been through, she has been incredibly brave throughout all of it.

OK just a quicky, can anyony else lemme know if they wanan do a cash sponsorship as will be putting a card donation through for the total amount of cash donations as that way we can get the gift aid as well...
