ive got a few of those... but for £8.99 i think ill have a few more... does mean i have to go in to an aldi though .....

hey, you could buy 80 of those and still have £3.68 left over... thats enough for 4 original glazed KKs and STILL have 80p left

There's only one Digital Caliper to have . . and that's a Mititoyo.

Those'll do for basic stuff, though.

i bought a no brand chinese one from a tool van about 5 years ago, and its only just handed in its notice, when checked against a slip it was spot on (asfar as verniers go) too..

real accuracy always needs a micrometer..

I got a Mititoyo one of those too, a £££ bit of kit, that.

50 - 75mm came in at nearly £100 on its own..

Manual ones are cheaper I suppose . . . .

You can get the mitouyo ones online for less than £50 now. Have had mine for over 10 years and is spot on

Hmm yeah the 9 quid price tag is doable for summat i wont use too much - 50 is a bit too much IMHO for the use it would get
