Small Update:

The IROC made its video debut recently for a friend of mine who makes music videos & stuff like that...  The whole video was shot in MK and involved a few of my friends too

Albeit a bit part it turns out in the end but still kinda cool
(See approx 1/3 and 2/3 through the vid.)

(Its just a bit of shame about the actual song... its ok... ish, apparantly they're a very well known German Electronic group...)

Something to do with shutters & Filters I think... Just overheard bits of jargon

The Point isn't actually a Pyramid, I think that triangle is something near the theater, probably pretending to be 'art' (No not that Art!)

Is yours an LSD ? - If so you'll need specific LSD oil or an additive.

F Body :- GM Part No. GM1052358 - 118ml / 4 fl.oz for £8.44 the last time I bought some

Just ordered this from Bauer Millets...

Now £14.39 +VAT per bottle FYI Martyn

There's some work to be done on my Car over the next month as bits i've ordered over the last 6 months will be put on the Car in my 2 weeks leave, I'll post some more details later when I get home from work.

A Few initial Related questions:

Is it ok to paint the Driveshaft? If so...

Dean, where did you get your Camaro bits Blasted? As it will be easier than manual prepping to get the DS & Rear end done... cost? speed?

Is Driveshaft Balancing a quick process? If so with doing the above it'd be wise to get that checked i'd imagine.

Dean, what paint did you use to paint your Engine Block? as thats the colour I'd want.

I'd say so.

Paint may effect the balance, theoretically but if it's allowed to rust then this is likely to throw it out as much or more.

Guy over in Leigton Buzzard - I failed to get hold of him on his mobile last time but instead sent my folks down with the bits.

They always turn stuff around the same day - sometimes while you wait but don't expect that !

Quoting: FUBAR
cost?

Depends who you see Prop and axle maybe £30 ??

Quoting: FUBAR
speed?

See above.

Fairly quick and simple - have you got a vibration ?

What primer do you use with that? the VHT one?

Yes, its had a noticable vibration at higher speeds for a while which gets worse with further speed...

Just thought while I have to take it off I may as well get it Balanced.

I painted mine with Smoothrite, didn't seem to make any difference

Might be a UJ going ? Although I had a similar issue many years ago with a fairly new Triumph Spitfire

Did all the obvious things like swapping the wheels around first, then
replaced the prop shaft UJ's, then the drive shaft UJ's, replaced the wheel bearings and still the ruddy thing made a vibration at speed

Rocky

Have you checked your idler arm and front steering components, That will cause vibration at speed and is a common fault on 3rd gens? If you have trouble getting blasting done I can media blast most things for you even rubber or plastic
