Sided lights not indicators.... The bulb you need to fit to pass an MOT that there was no hole for...

I drilled a hole, then filed two notches out to accept the original bulb holders . . . The plastic on the new ones is thinner (no surprise) so the "O" ring seal doesn't seal as good - but it's as good as it's gonna get.

Stick-on ones always look a bit naf IMO, either replace the 'lens' or spray

Worked well on the duster....

philoldsmobile

tint spray has a very unfair rep.. its all to do with how its prepaired and applied, also a correct polish afterwards

EDGE

i sprayed some lights with that a few years ag, they looked absolutely incredible... like phirrip says, its all down to the prep and finish..

I never have the time for  foreplay LOL

Roadkill

I'd have thought all that rubbing and buffing was right up your street, Martyn . . . . Like polishing without the polish.

All done cheers Dean

Nahhh..... If he was a then he would be buying a body-kit, drainpipe exhaust, and a rear wing that looks like it's been stollen from an A380....

But on the other had, it is a Mustang...

Incursus

Ok someone give a good reason why these wont fit my car.

4 used Mustang 2000 G.T. 17" Alloys and tyres excellent condition .No curb marks or laquer peel on wheels. 2 Tyres are 255/40/17 (rear)  and the other 2 are 235/45/17 all tyres have at least 4mm tread depth Tyres are Michelin Pilot ZR

I'd just be wary (sp) of the back spaces.

Late Yank motors got more "European" in there wheel back-spaces . . . that is they steered away from the "deep dish" type of rims and increased the axle width . . going (generally) from negative to positive backspacing.

Incursus

Anyway I can find out?

WHEEL 05 MUSTANG V6 STYLE 17 X 9 BLACK 94/04
05 Mustang V6 Style Wheel, 17" x 9", Black for 1994-2004 Mustang.

One of the greatest styling cues on the '05 Mustang came from the V6. These large Halibrand-style wheel fits 94-04 Mustang & 79-93 with 5-lug conversion. Black center cap with silver pinstripes is included. The factory correct cap will fit this wheel.

Specifications:
- +24mm offset
- 5-Lug
- 5 x 4-1/2" Bolt Pattern.

Kinda Suggests the wheels are the same 94-04

Roadkill

One thing the auction doesn't say is the rim width.

I'd guess it was 8" - which means 1" wider then yours.

If the offset from the centre line is the same that mean they'd be 1/2" closer to the inside the the body and would stick out 1/2" more.

That said if it was an issue a 6mm spacer would solve that . . .

Incursus

Spoted some on Ebay.com

They all say for 00-04

Incursus

I'll have a browse through the mustang forums tonight, seems i'm blocked at work

Roadkill

Ah-ha !

Although spacing it if the offset is correct will put the steering geometry out.... If the center offset is the same then it's best not to space it from that point of view...

Roadkill

I was referring to if the rims/tyres physically clashed with the inner arch.
