You've got a point there.
There's far more options with Mustangs though:
64.5-73 - the old, expensive ones
74-78 - the good old Mustang II

79-93 - Fox (lots of small differences between 79-86, 87-93 are like mine)
94-95 - new curvy style, pretty much same car underneath
96-98 - slightly changed curvy style
99-04 - much better aggressive styling

and more power
05+ - Completely new and retro at the same time
