went into tesco tonight for a bottle of red wine, used the self service checkout, but of course, wine needs a member of staff to authorise..

the woman came up to me and asked me for ID because she wanted to be sure i was over 18!

(and no, she wasn't giggidy)

I worked at a quick mart/petrol station when I was in High school. Had a gal come in and try to buy beer. I refused to sell to her as she didn't look a day over 16 and her ID said she was 43. I was SURE it was fake! I was WRONG!!!! She really was 43 I found out later as she worked with my sister. LOL

She was pissed I wouldn't sell her the beer but well chuffed I thought she was only 16.

I went to the liquor store on my 21st birthday to buy a pint of JD and got pissed cause the gal working there didn't even card me!
Made me feel like an old man! LOL

I was Id'd a couple of years ago by a bloke in an off licence (round the corner to where we live). To say I was a little taken a back is an understatement. Still, I preferred that to when his wife came over and told him not to be stupid as I looked way old!!!
