A girl at the gym is selling her trusty Ford Fiesta 1.3 5 door Finesse.
Owned for the last five years, she's just bought a new Mini, 75K miles, 12 months MOT, 6 months tax ( I think it's "N" Reg ) navy blue in excellent condition offers around £450.
If anyones interested as a winter hack, I'll get some pictures & contact details tomorrow.

I'd still like to pick up an el-cheapo daily, the biggest problem is insurance cost, although I haven't actually looked into that at all yet.

whats the Tax / MOT situation on the renault? exactly how dead is it? honestly...

The fiesta will be cheap tax, BTW . . . . Insurance for me on the Chav'scort (1.4L) with two years NC is £299. Third Party F&T.

Well the money I've got saved up for the SFC's could be invested elsewhere, and the IROC bits could be done at a later date, especially if its OTR for winter it takes the urgency out of it.

Any car would only have to last 6 Months but £450 is too much

MOT June 07 tax end of november.

The clutch is a little stiff, but its always been that way

The clutch itself may not last much more than a year depending on your mileage/driving style was quoted just over £200 to replace.
Rad had a leak but fixed it with Rad weld, Oil leak was the sump plug easily fixed with the correct sized square jobby. and the rear door drivers side wont lock/unlock with the central locking and wont open from the outside.

to you £150, I'll through in the smell of old socks and rust for free

1995(M). Renault 19RN 1.9td (diesel)

FYI Its got 3 nearly new tyres on it,
Electric front windows and sunroof.
Remote central locking,
10(i think)cd changer but the head unit need a code (i don't have) and the LCD screen on the H/U is almost unreadable.

Errm what else you need?

Its probably going on Fleabay tonight.
