Scrap yard - used pump, ohh, about £15?

they aint much more than that from an el cheapo auto factors, and a cam belt is about £13 i'd never trust a used water pump that is driven by the cam belt.. change it pronto, the last thing you want is the bearing to sieze and rip the teeth off the timing belt...

from memory it must be due a belt change now anyway....

Roadkill

I need to inspect further.

The leak has stopped again.

Yes, there is water in her, plenty.  In fact she hasn't lost a drop in 3 days . . . .

Yep.

I like to think of it as a "Gradual Oil change"

Roadkill

Slightly worrying . . . . . . . . . .

Before leaving work I checked the water level on the chav'scort . . . . . I put in 4 LITRES !!! . . .  As far as I know the whole system is only just over 5.

Admittedly, I did over 300 miles yesterday, but that's 4 litres in 1 day as I checked it monday afternoon.

Oh, well.

Carry the AA card, then . . . . . . . . and more bottled water.
