The shortlist for this year's European Car of the Year has just been announced.

The shortlisted cars are:

Citroën C4 Picasso, Fiat Grande Punto, Ford S-Max, Honda Civic, Opel/Vauxhall Corsa, Peugeot 207, Skoda Roomster and Volvo C30 - Yawn !

HardRockCamaro

Ford S-Max can look quite tasty for an MPV - pity about the name though...

I think the Civic should get it as the Japs have finally produced a nice piece of design.

So no good cars then.

Unfortunatly the sad truth is that cars like these are becoming popular as people have lost the interest in driving. Cars are rapidly becoming A to B machines no longer able to make you smile, even if you want them to.

Yeah, I didn't get that, either.

Honda Civic made in Swindon, I think it has more British content ( including the engine ) than most "British" cars
