Yeah I had similar weighed a ton and took up way too much space.

but my company gave us all 17" LCD TFT monitors for free as a 20th anniversary present last year

CRT quality is still better but not enough to bother me

Thats exactly why I stuck with it, + its 110hz which is cool

The space doesn't bother me either, as you can see it hangs over the back of my desk, which is cool, if my desk was against a wall it would fill the whole thing though!
