Having handled one (oo-err) I can report it is top-notch.

More suck then a 5-star vietnamese hooker.

Well built and nicely finished.

Could included a "eye" for attaching hardware to incase of mounting failure would be my only fault.

This thing lasted the journey from MK to the Fancot and back on the out side of my car, with a camera mounted to it with no problems. It is well and truly "top notch".

Your mum has the same camara as me, can you take that into work and use that as a referance?, failing that whatever the origional one i tested was set up to, it worked ok the first time.
