Bloody hell juss checked prices - 160gb Western digi or 160gb maxtor SATA hdd's are a whopping 31 quid plus vat - that is crazy cheap!!!!!!!!

Hmm could be worth using JUST the hdd from G and removing the others ones and having nothing but an OS and the games on it (no music etc) and tis at least gets you a machine runnign then when you get teh new hdd, rebuild on the new hdd then install old one and copy stuff over???

Is it an IDE or a SATA drive mate, as trying to get an upgrade for me mums pc - currently has (wait for it) a 2gb ....... yup a whole 2 gb hard drive
