Ask him if he can register the names you want, at what price/how long etc.

He'll register it in your name and you'll be the legal owner.

He'll be able to give more detail.

This time I'm opting to use 305ci Chevy lumps (as they're not very disirable). Note I say lumps.
Yes, two, in fact. Back to back.

Yup,

No head; glass bolted onto the block; crank, pistons, and rods still in place; electric motor drive on the crank so that the pistons slowly move up and down in view through the glass...

The block forms the central support of a rectangular table, with maybe a small support frame under the sump to lift it up a little...

Visually very involving (I think), but with the head up missing there are a lot less shiney things to wory about bolting on...

Sorry, couldn't find a 6

Occasionally one pops up on ebay when someone coverts a S-6 Chevy Pick-Up to a V8 . . .

They normally go for around £100, tops . . .

55starchief

nevermind a straight 6 go for an 8 or a 12

Titsy

go for an 8 or a 12

A lot harder to come by, plus I think the proportions of a straight 6 would be more in fitting with a 6 seater table.... you don't want people sitting in the end seats to be knocking their legs on the block...

55starchief

most 50's americans had straight 8's and relativly small blocks

Still, Try finding one for sale over here . . . no where near as common as S-6's . . .
