Giblets

First off, Happy New Year and I hope you all had a nice break (for those that weren't working).

My 2006 got off to a belting start as I managed to lose 6 inches of paint on my off side wheel arch reversing out of my super slim fit garage on New Years Day!

To say I was pished off is an understatement, and I could have cried. I didn't park it in straight the day previous in my attempts to hug the off side wall to give myself sufficient space to exit the car, and reversed straight back while focusing too much on the wing mirrors, and then KERRUNCH!

Subsequently took out my frustration on the A507 (approx 120 mph) and then took a hacksaw to the garage door frame to free up 3 inches width for the wheel arches!

So now I need some of my local bretheren to recommend a good body shop in my area (North Herts, South Beds) that can do a far better job with the filler than my last attempt on my Mustang.

Suggestions on a postcard please folks........

Roadkill

I Could suggest places in M.K, Mate, but am not familiar with Your Area.

Isn't Rocky in Watford ???

philoldsmobile

damn, that sucks hairy sweaty monkey balls..

i'd say rockey is yer man, but budget and exact location of the damage depending, perhaps chips away may be able to help..

Giblets

Well MK isn't too far, but Rocky is about 45 mins from me.

I might try him still as he's a decent fella.

What about Bedford Philo?

Don't want to get ripped off but I want a decent job done, or I'd tackle it myself.

Roadkill

Any piccy's of it, Mate - to get a better idea ?

Giblets

I tried, but couldn't see past my tears. My front door was nearly slammed off it's hinges afterwards!

Seriously though I'll try and get a pic up here, so I can send it to Rocky for a quote.

Jamie came over to Brackley and had a mate of mine fix his camaro when he hit the ticket booth last year.

If you dont mind the journey the guy does top notch work
