EDGE

its probably not a hydraulic clutch so there may be some slack adjustment in the cable

Yep, Pretty sure it's cable-driven clutch.  I'll (have) to investigate this w/e.

Roadkill

(Quite possibly one of the final) UPDATE(s)

She's now on nearly 153,500 miles . . . .

Clutch is still bad (I haven't had time to have a proper look but it does appear it's non-adjustable beyond what's already there).

Side lights do not work.  Only headlights.

Tailights don't work.  Not sure if they're intermitent or what but they didn't work when I was coming back from the Cinema on Tuesday - That's for sure.

Rear screen heater / wiper rarely work now as does(n't) the boot release.

Front brakes make a gronchy sound under heavy braking but she still stops O.K.

She's leaking oil after the oil change but that could be 'cos I over-filled her a bit.

As from Tomorrow she'll be doing about 60 miles a week plus any w/e driving so will effectively be retiring from a mileage whore and be down-graded to daily hack.

Tax is due at the end of the month, too.

Possible replacement are a '98-'99 Mondeo (diesel ideally) or similar age Peugeot 406 (only the diesel though).

Or I could save up, go nuts, and buy a Jaguar as my mileage is now so low !

Oi!!! What's wrong with with Jags then ??

I of course havew to drive one, cos I live in Sarf Laandan, innit?

Kenny

if your daily drive is so short, why bother with a nother cheepy... just use the camaro (when its done)?

the cost of keeping another car just for 60m a week would out weigh the cost of driving the 'maro, would it not?

Valid point but the Camaro will be far too lairy to use everyday . . Fully poly-bushed with silly-stiff suspension and tubular everything . . . It'd be hard work.

It was tail happy enough before but after it's done -

Plus, I had thought of that but I do need a general car for :

i) Taking rubbish to the tip,
ii) Hauling tools around,
iii) Taking on long journeys / holidays / days out
iv) Collecting DIY stuff etc

Etc . . .

Roadkill

I suppose a pick-up really would be ideal . . .

Roadkill

I'm sure that Nash is mis-priced . . . . it just seems way too cheap for that.

"Hand fabricated rear fins, frenched rear lights, fabricated roof, frenched and canted front lights, fabricated front and rear fender skirts, Diamond pleated interior by Wiff Smith. This car is totally unique"

Agreed even with a Ford engine

May be it's a scam
