I'd guess not ... the licence plate says "SPECIAL", the numbers are the same size as the prices on other cars and judging by the 2 guys slapping each other the IROC still has an image problem in the states
It's the time that we kill that keeps us alive...

Told ya Rob

Your lucky i cant find the 'OWNED ' smiley

Yes and thankfully nobody recognizes it as a trailer trash car over here!

I used to get all of that when I had my Professionals 3.0S Capri for 2 years!

Beautiful car, but the butt of all jokes mainly because of Only Fools and Horses.

I'm not liking those rims much.

Watch it Mine is 6" lower though

HardRockCamaro

Looks like it says "Drive Away" above the "89", although being an old car, it could mean 89 as in the year.

Here is the original request for the car:

I need an immaculate 85-90 IROC for a Budweiser Commercial
The only stipulations are:

Must be a hardtop
Must have factory "IROC" decals on the doors
No faded or cracked paint/moldings
Sorry boys/girls genuine IROC's only

The premise of the commercial is there will be a couple of young guys moping through a used car lot when they happen upon this absolutely pristine 80's icon. They look at each other, smile, slap hands, and the next time we see our friends is when they tap bottles as their new toy sits freshly washed and waxed in the background.

Mullet man

HardRockCamaro

Will no doubt be funny, but totally unrealistic and staged.

800 miles in a $1,000 car?  Easy.

Afraid not mate, Here some old pics and yes HRC it has had some more work done on it since the pics,

HardRockCamaro

Love the depth of gloss on the paint!

I'm hoping to have my paid my credit card off in a few months which means the IROC can finally have some money spent on it!

Rocky

Been collecting bits while finishing off the paintwork got these for really good deal, billet alloy

Some more pics i found
