2,000 isn't that big a deal compared to the 30,000 GM laid of.
As for the Hemi, whether we like it or not, big V8s are now niche, not the norm.

If Detroit just made the sorts of cars we like they'd be out of business in just a few months/years.

The UK auto industry didn't move with the times, now look at it.
