Phil, you can change it back to the white scheme, there's a link in the "back to black" thread somewhere.

the black has always been there as an alternative, you just had to turn it on.

it needs the transparancy setting properly which means re-doing most of them, not a huge or difficult job but time consuming.

there isn't no, we only have the Dark Side because Deano wanted one that wasn't bright after sitting at the PC at work all day.

I use AutoCAD all day when in the office so at a glance the black forum looks similar to the CAD screen.

On the plus side it is easier on the eyes . . . As you say the smilies need work but generally I prefer it.
