And that's not even talking about the cars...

Don't rise to these Camaro baiters fellas.

Roadkill

He's just jealous 'cos we've got cars that move under their own power.

Mine's the Ram

cool

What Ram is it? 1500, 2500, V8, Cummins?

DanC

yeah 1500 V8 5.7 Hemi Magnum

Just been putting and wiring new toys on it this week, new front fogs.
Got some new oem wing mirrors from the states on their way too, don't like those towing wing mirrors, too damn wide

300bhp per ton

What sort of MPG do you see from the Hemi?

DanC

erm next question

not a lot, about 12 round town, and 16 or so on motorway.
trip computer is at 13-14mpg overall.

reset it last month, and went to Nottingham and back (work), and that was about 17mpg I think.

Isn't it gallons per mile with those things?

ok, didn't know if it got up to 20mpg or so, guess it depends on the right foot.

I see some guys in the States claiming 18-20mpg hwy but US gallons are smaller so I don't know.

Guess this might be for the 4x2 trucks, is yours a 4x4?

DanC

cannot remeber full details, but think it shuts down four valves when you are in cruise mode, something like that.

Only just seen this thread, so here you are:

Truck before I pulled it off the road for the rebuild, keeping my 2003 SV1000S company:

And the daily driver slosh wagon, a '94 4.0L straight six Jag:

The bike gets 40mpg, the truck got 12. The Jag is slightly better at about 19mpg, seeing as I never take it out of sport mode ::

Roadkill

Always loved the "Fat-ass" look of the Dually's.

For some reason I can't modify my original post...

So here's a pic of my actual Cadillac instead of a brochure shot:
