There's a new replacement rear quarter going on fleabay for £150 but with paint and labour that will take the cost above what I'm willing to spend.

A local mobile Bump and Ding specialist reckons he can have a go at pulling out the ding on the arch or filling it. Problem is it's double skinned on that spot.

Approx £120 for the job all in. I reckon he'll do a 90% decent job, or it could cost me over £500 for the proper job.

Rocky

I rekon £325-£375 for a proper job

Giblets

Yeah, and thats double what the wife wants me to spend on it!

Given the other multiple minor scratches and thoroughly kerbed alloys I don't see the point in thrwoing major lolly at it.

Yup.

What happened about the plastic trim bit ?

Giblets

He repaired it.

I think he sanded it down and painted it too as it was only scratched.

Twas a mobile guy based in Shillington (next village) called 'Bumps & Dings'.

He came to me which saved a load of hassle. Even he was pleased with his own work on that job, as it would have cost at least £500 to have a new rear quarter sourced, painted and fitted!
