I've never been totally happy with the handling of my car, but until recently assumed that most of the problem was down to worn front suspension bushings.

Imagine my annoyance, when over this weekend I discovered that when I had the rear springs replace about 3 years ago, that the axle isn't under the car square.

The passenger side is 1/2 further forward than the drivers. It's clearly visible when you are looking for it.  It's a simple thing that would have taken just a few extra seconds and a bit of care when bolting up, that's now going to take me the best part of a day to sort because all the bolts have seized, and I'm gonna have to cut them out

If I though Nathan was a cowboy with my brakes, I definitely think so now after this

Roadkill

That's a stupid and n00b mistake to make.

Hardly what you'd expect from a "professional".

Indeed.  One reason why I now try to tackle as much on my own as possible - I can't really do much worse than this.  I also know what I want as an end result and what (if any) shortcuts are taken.
