Update on Bathroom.

It now has a fully fitted door and lock . . . not 100% finished but perfectly serviceable.

Toilet and sink are all good.

Bath is now 100% sealed in.

Shower works - but as yet no shower curtain . . . . . . (the main sticking point at the moment . . - It's not easy on a corner bath)

Very well, finally a country that sells decent nacho cheese.  But I didn't bring any back.

The only place in this county I have found nacho cheese dip (outside a cinema) is Centre Parcs - which is also has the best nachos I've had in europe

Hmm.  Doesn't quite fit the profile of the bath . . and would normally be too short . . . but I have modified the position of the bath heavily, and therefore reduced the perimeter . . . .



I reckon even the 6' one will be too short but I'll have a measure . . . it'll be close.

yup close enough i would have thought, anything more precise will need to be custom made

Just a thought but i bet you could use that and drop it from the ceiling using those hangers for wardrobes, that would let you position it more to one side as it doesnt really need to wrap the whole bath

Yup.

I used a VMC and a CNC lathe to construct the hangers and a pipe bender for the tube.

Looking again at those shower poles I'm pretty sure they'll fit.

I'll double check tonight and if they do I'll order one.

Providing it gets here before wednesday next week the LAN should be good to go ahead at Castle Roadkill #1

I have looked before but never found anything (hence the custom job last time).

The bath is 1500mm long (x 1020), resessed 40mm into the wall one end (the shortest).  It's also resess at the tap end a further 65mm making it 1395mm long, maximum.

On the 1020 edge, about 25mm is in the wall . . . making 995mm.



It's not an even shape or I could easily draw it up here and be sure . . .

I should be in MK for about 1330.  If no one has grabbed your keys by then I will.  Only problem might be that I have a eye test at about 1400 as well, so I will be out for an hour.
