Does everyone have the special forces add on installed? just wondering because it would give us new maps to play on and doesn't involve buying a whole new game like TF2 or Unreal Tournament 3

missed that - shoudl be ok so long as the game comes with a proper genuine serial number, as if you have probs playing online u can then contat the game peeps and get them to unbar it.

Playing offline should be np problem at all as will check tonight / tomorrow if i can get mine and vickys machine running from same cd with a **ahem** patch

(Ian on vicky's machine btw - too lazy to sign out hehe)

For the original BF2 game yeah it does haven't tried the Special Forces bit yet so we can easily get it installed and what not before hand!

Special Forces sounds cool.

yeah its pretty good, some different vehicles, load of new maps (some at night) some different weapon choices etc all in all will add a new dimension to the BF2 part of the LAN which will be cool.
