Oil filter on.

Needs to be final-fixed on it's stand and the sump fixed.

Hopefully this'll be done in the next few days.

Lets see a picture then ?

Soon.

I need to take some in the daylight as the last lot were a bit crap.

Roadkill

Custom size core plugs are ordered - £9 for 20 !

And I'm watching an alternator bracket kit on eBay for $12 . . . .

Roadkill

To do :

Core plugs.
Final positioning.
Bolt-up sump.
Fit front pulley/fan blades.
Strip and repaint main pulley and fan blades.
Fit Dizzy clamp and Oil sensor.
Obtain alternator and brackets, paint, fit.
Fit belts.
Touch-up paint where required . . .

Roadkill

Front pulley's are now cleaned, primed and painted - just need fitting.

Fan has been stripped and is awaiting de-rusting tonight, then prime and paint.

Core plugs need fitting . . .

Oil sensor has been fitted.

Hope to have her done by christmas . . . .

ianjpage

looking good mate, slowly getting those list of jobs to do down!!

Roadkill

Yup.

With the Coffee table done and finished I'm desperate to finish the paperweight in order to free my time ready for the BBQ and Media unit next year.

And I've had some ideas for a Dining room table and chairs, too . . . .

I'd love to, but cash isn't permitting ATM . . .

ianjpage

ahhh but neither you or me mentioned purchasing the said parts

Roadkill

I've been window shopping for a set of Holley "94's" for my Tri-Carb set-up this arvo . . .

Roadkill

All front pulleys and the fan are now painted . . holes re-tapped to M8.

I need some small bit laser-cut in order to re-assemble the pulley system without, obviously, the crank in position.

Roadkill

Just sent a load of bits off to be laser cut.

Roadkill

More work done last night.

Holes tapped, water pump pulley and fan re-fitted.

Dizzy hold down clamp re-fitted.

Here's the latest piccy - the sump had to be dropped as the next job is "final fixing" on the stand (which needs to be done inside the crank case).

It also needs a dust !

Not sure . . . . Without working it all out I'd guess about £800 - less labour . . . . maybe a little more.

Certainly under a grand.

But then some of the bits from the motor I've sold back for a few quid so . . .

around £750- £850.

The table cost about £220.
