Rivets mate.

As for the floor ply i called gibbs and dandy they have 18mm shuttering ply for £13+VAT 8x4 sheet this should be good enough for the flooring

***EDIT***

Dean do you still have those rivets?

FUBAR

I think we'll need more than 1 sheet do do the floors m8, the sizes needed for the 2 back sections I don't think fit into 1 8x4' sheet... + there's the front lockers too

Hmm, last see buried in the van . . . The van is at the Garage - I'll check when It comes back . . . .

Roadkill

BTW - How many sheets are we looking at ?

Also If using Rivets through wood - would it be an idea to use penny washers to spread the load ?

I got loads, here.

Might find a speed rating on the blade if you look

O.K

I've got one 180mm Dia. Ally Disc.
and one 180mm Dia. Steel disc. - Max Rev. 3,500 rpm.

Ok looks like the saw i have is 5000 rpm, am prety sure if we use the 110v power out with a 240v saw we ill get half that speed.

That 5000rpm is no load speed

So loaded will be a lot less . . . .

definatley want penny washers for the wood..

on a side note, the astro is now correctly wired, and i'm testing the lights on my parents caravan in about an hour, and i have finaly cut the 3" holes on the stack flange.

used a plasma (so went slightly under 3" so we didn't have any gaps) and it took literaly 30 seconds...

mmmmmm plasma me want

philoldsmobile

hell of a piece of kit mate, very dramatic (and loud) in use!

philoldsmobile

-update-

checked wiring with caravan, and all working 100% so if there are any lighting issues now with the BBQ, its on the trailer side of things..

i'm ready to tow.

Ok then, moving back on to topic now

philoldsmobile

ironicly, with a new standard flasher unit ( i had one sitting here) the indicators flash normal speed with a trailer, so i didn't need that heavy duty unit i orderd after all!
