stumbled upon this in france, at a now secret location (and no, its not easy to find).... awesome..

if i'm in a nice mood, a may bring you a bottle back next time i'm over there....

i kinda understand what the reviewer is saying here...

"Overall a stunning force of brewing nature this one is. Like a deep and wide river; quiet and still on the surface, yet powerful and tumultuous underneath. This beer is holy."

That looks suspiciously like a mental asylum

Kenny

f***ing corporate filters!!!

"The Websense category "Alcohol and Tobacco" is filtered"

we cant even look at beer!   whats the world coming to?

F Body

11.30% ABV

"Rochefort 10 (blue cap, dark beer, 11.3% ABV). Reddish-brown colour, with a very compact head and an aroma of figs, feels like honey in the mouth. The alcohol profile is a major component in the flavour of this rich ale.
Some may find the high alcohol content to be disagreeable " - when they fall over

TBH i wouldn't be suprised if it came from a mental asylum... i struggle to believe a monk would think it was a good idea to brew an 11.3% beer!

visions of maniacs laughing demonicly while stirring super strength wort seem more likely than brother pierre lovingly crafting his brew

It's bottle conditioned ?

philoldsmobile

Roadkill

Bottle conditioned Beers should be poured slowly to avoid disturbing the sediment . . . a drop should be left in the bottom of the bottle too.

Sediment from strong beers (bottle conditioning is normally only done on strong beers) can give you severe gut-rot !
