Fieldy

I've never seen one before (If I have I have never noticed it....)

What about parts? Easy to get hold of?

art b

mostly skyline running gear,
so plenty of spares about may not be the cheapest, but the volvo bits aint cheap either....
jap stuff is pretty reliable....

It is hugely reliable, and if most of it is skyline parts then that is fair enough I guess. Yes, Volvo parts aren't cheap, but they are easy to get hold of.

55starchief

Its not difficult to get any car part nowdays, people always make out like its difficult. Simply google search and pick up the phone and your done. If i can manage to find parts for a 50yr old car im damn sure i could get parts for a modern car

art b

hmm heres another, miles a bit high...?
lookin for one around 50k

How much did it go for ?

art b

they have pulled it from the web site,
its the same as this one below,
may/97  but with only 41k miles,  [in ten years]

looks like its never been sat in needs a scratch on the sill and a scab on the door doing, otherwise very straight, the engiine sounds like a swiss watch, gotta, mot and reg it,
two other bidders bid ,and the reserve turned out to be 2400,got it for £2500
gonna run it and may sell the v70, and keep the nissan as a daily...

I can remember my boss getting his brand new 4x4 sierra cossie, praying for snow only to find it was useless and ended up with him hitting a curb and needing a new rear sub chassis

sorry to hear that.. how much more hypnosys will it take to erase the memory?

My SAAB's were always the best when ever we had snow, never had a problem driving in to work from my folks place which is out in the sticks. Can also remember driving to college in northampton when it snowed only to get there and be told the lecturers who mainly lived in northampton hadnt been able to get in

art b

yep i remember the country kids,
struggling to get to work and skool while the rest of us were in bed...or the pub
it must be boring out there in the sticks...........

I would choose to live in the nice quiet countryside over a city or town anyday..
1968 VW T2 Bay Bus (currently being restored and upgraded)
1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ (modern classic daily driver)
