Hmmm the Rita ride @ alton towers is controlled by a ..........wait for it..........WINDOWS PC................arghhhhh suddenly it ffeels so unsafe lol

only a toop speed of 60mph, but a peak acceleration of 3G...

Im guessing that the system only controls the launch so a BSD wouldnt matter after the launch.

Would have thought it would have been an embedded aplication myself rather than relying on 3rd party software or at minimum a unix based OS
