Ahh, that's how a 1 hour job goes sometimes.

Its not my car thats the hold up though (For once!)

Car is starting to get a Random Misfire every now & then regardless of temperature, given that I know the Coil, Dizzy cap & rotor are all new would it be reasonable to assume I can kiss goodbye to my knuckle skin because its time for a Plugs Change?

I'll try throwing some Redex into the fuel again 1st next time I fill up, its due a treatment anyway.

I have some leads, but its one of these Accel Kits, anyone got Crimpers I could borrow that can do Plug Leads?

Still waiting on my Idle control doo-dad from JWR too, hopefully that will help out the cold starts (it had better do!! it cost enough!)

Most wire crimpers have a plug terminal bit on them.  I have at least 2 sets, but don't ask me to find them in a hurry.  Since I had my garage door replaced I can barely get in there for all the junk that has been piled in the way.

i have made a few sets of leads..

jusging by the state of the rest of the HT system, leads are a very wise move..

so would plugs be TBH..

if you're wondering i'd be suprised if the GMC would get into their workshop... there's a sharp ramp on the way in that almost hits the nose on my car!
