Hello, Mate.

Was the interior black ? If so do you have the centre console lid available ?
Also (if the interior is black) I'd be interested in a handful of the large plastic screws and their plugs which hold the panels in in the boot.

Thanks.

FUBAR

LOL I must have struck a cord... the Bonnet guy replied to me almost immediately!

The guy can't figure out the shipping for this, the cheapest he could find to the Uk was $160!!  if needbe is there anywhere in the US I could send this too?  I'm currently exploring 1 other avenue atm regarding Dean's Link on the last page.

hmm..i know wiring is actualy quite heavy, but that seems steep....

for referance, shipping on a complete rear view mirror (door mirror) for the van was $42

Finally! an answer to what I want to do with the engine in My car...

Screw Buying another one, I want to do this:

Its an Official (Happy PhilO ) 350ci Conversion for an LG4.
Their test car... and 87 Camaro...
produced 308 horsepower (at 5000 rpm) and 365 lb-ft torque (at 3500 rpm).

Now I just need to see what it costs...

This ZZ4 engine conversion kit for 1983-87 Camaro vehicle is no longer available.

Bad news.

But that was for a 350ci . . . . . . .

Fek, how much ?

FUBAR

Dunno, but if they don't make crucial things like the replacement computers anymore then its not going to happen anyway

FUBAR

Bloody Stupid GM what did they have to discontinue that for I looked at that kit ages ago but assumed it was for the 305 so when I found this one with a 350 involved I thought it was different.

Oh well

Oh and I found an old post on thirdgen.org from 2000 stating that the complete kit (I assume including all the exhaust components, manifolds etc which I wouldn't have used) ran at around $4300

Yup, the pontiac motor would make mor torque they always have done over chevy motors

The good news is that the small valve heads work really well on a 305 to begin with! They like velocity more than volume, which is another reason that they respond so well to mild supercharging. A simple B&M Forced Induction or a 4-71 blower make real monsters out of 305 engines!

As far as head mods, most guys I've taked with who've modified 305s say to do little more than gasket match the ports in the intake to those in the head and run a good 3-angle valve job. Excessive porting or bowl work isn't neccessary, and small tube headers work just fine.
