Anyone going past a B&Q as if we need to chop the shell we will require some saw blades for a bosch recipricating saw

Was thinking we may hold off on cutting it up for this week and see if we can sell the shell.  Don't mind paying the £15 rent if thats OK

Roadkill

O.K.

Gonna have to pull the '58 from her slumber and out of the garage.

Let's hope the battery's not flat from jumping Sammys MX-poof.

you can leave it at the barn if you want. I can always get the van from work to move it

edit

would need to bring the crane over anyways

I'd agree.

That said I think using a spot-weld drill to remove certain panels may prove fruitful.

If I had a Fourth gen I'd be very interested in good clean spare sheet metal . . . (as opposed to a whole shell or rough cut parts).

Thanks for the offer.

However I'm keen to get it back here ASAP . . . We'll just have to see how the day goes tomorrow . . .

Not really that many metal panels on the thing though.  Could just be time wasted.

yup rear qtrs for sure and if the front cross member is any good it would be easy to remove the motor with it out of the way

I cant see time being an issue, if the car is split into 3 scions there are plenty of people to work on each section

Just a question but how far are you planing on breaking the car down?

Are you going to strip all the suspension apart or leave it as one piece?

what about the doors, glass out and door motors etc or leave complete for another day or to take away?

Bear shell if possible - anything that is saleable will be saved

Can't see there being a lot of call for this unless its been uprated - gonna have to wait and see.

Strip everything off doors as most components will be saleable as single items unless we have any requests for complete doors with gubbins.

I have 3 roll cabs full plus stuff all over the floor mate. If there is a tool we need i will have it. I have more tools than most mechanics in workshops

55starchief

you can see the cabs in this picture and this is over 2 years old i have bought a lot more since then

Roadkill

Right, then.

Just fuelling up on Beer to get the motivation going . . . Just cleared the floor in the garage and Fired the Caddy (briefly - battery now flat).

Need to check fluids tomorrow before jump starting and moving out . .

Will need to have the engine stand back to move easily in the garage.

All set.
