not too bad a list for the 166, all pretty easy stuff to sort..

exhaust back box (being done today)
cam belt, tensioner and variator (being done this week)
full valet
small dent on drives door
back light on navigation system screen NFG
no reverse lights
creak from front suspention
new nose badge
magazene from cd autotchanger missing

thats about it.. the car was £2000 below list price, so i got a bit of a budget to play with..

Good luck PhilO you could sure do with some !

You did the right thing with the Mustang, as I told Rafe last week, off load a problem vehicle onto someone else

Find out who makes it.

Probably not Alpine (we only make high quality stuff ) but you never know.

Nothing too serious like you say.  Atleast you know that when those things are done she should be goodo.

Glad you're happy, new toys are fun!

I do find myself wondering though if you're any better off in terms of stuff that needs doing as that appears to have a longer list of stuff than the Stang?

Welcome to the world of prestige motoring though!

nope - the stang fault list filled 1/2 sheet of A4, there was much more wrong with the stang,

the stang is gonna be fixed and sold,  i dont doubt it will be a good car for soeone, mainly bcause i'd have fixed everything that was going to go wrong, but i just dont want the car anymore..

with the difference in price, i'm gonna keep this alfa, and pocket the change..

this is in  a different league to anything i've owned, its got every concievable toy, and its got a level of build quality i've not seen outside an old school merc, its seriously well screwed together..ride handling and comfort are all top notch

For the money it's a well nice motor

If it was green it'd be perfect

Seats look awesome!

philoldsmobile

the leather is by momo, and the seats themselves are recaro, so they are as good as it gets..

i'm blown away for the money..

Had one (green ) follow me into the foodhall multistory in CMK on Friday. I remember thinking my god thats an ugly nose even for an Alpha I hope thats not what philo's getting.   Each to his own though.

Good luck with it.
