We had the acorn electron infact still have it and the expansion pack. My dad had an apricot at work and i can remember going down on a saturday morning to play battlechess on its EGA monitor

I've got one

guess the tech's improved a tad as i've never needed to change the battery.  Had it for nearly 2 years.
