I really dont see a problem, if thats what he wants and it makes him happy then who are we to say anything, everyone buys and does things others advise against in life

Reminds me of the AC/DC song - "Goodbye and good ridence to bad luck" . . .

I'm guessing it didn't reach the £995 buy it now as the auction was manually ended early ?

yup.

got a 99 166 2.5V6 manual - bit of a different beast this one - full alfa service history, absolutely as new, just turned over 70,000 miles, and owned by the owner of days MK alfa garage - so you know its been looked after properly, and would have been checked very carefuly before he bought it.

it is in STUNNING condition, and the exhaust note from the 24v V6 is to DIE for!

same colour interior as the old one, but without the wood pack. the LCD screen works in this one too!

So whats your total loss on that? In how many weeks?

philoldsmobile

the sux only needs to fetch a grand, too! so i *may* turn a slight proffit on it.

if it doesn't sell on ebay, i'll get wonky joes to paint the bonnet and front bumper, and stick it on auto trader for £1750

I think im gonna take a trip to william hill and see what odds they will offer me on him keeping the car

HardRockCamaro

This one sounds like a much better bet than the prior suspiciously cheap one...

Do you mind if I ask what you paid for it?

£1000 plus my broken one. he gave a decent price for the other one because he knows exactly what i've spent on it, as it was spent at his garage.

should be in it on saturday. hehehe, felt small after the lexus!

he had it up for just shy of £1700

ianjpage

ahh fair enough lets just hope thjis one lasts longer lol
