I just renewed my AOL as they sent me another router (which i don't need).
Plus they have offered me unlimited landline calls anytime for FREE.

That was Broadband silver (as I can't go faster)
10 GB download limit

All for £9.99

Unlimited downloads cost me an extra £5.00

I know you hear bad things but never really had a problem with them.

Plus I've never been warned about my downloads..... - currently averaging around 30-40GB a month..!

If I could I would......Currently only running flat out 3.2Mbps line

Titsy

If you have Sky TV I would sugest using them for broadband... We have a 16Mb connection that we get 12.7Mb on in speed tests and pay £10 per month for unlimited download.

Kenny

I Recommend sky too, I use the £5/month option.  that gives you 8M (7Mb in tests)
and 40GB download limit. (you get a free netgear router too)

It's not NetGear anymore... It's some unbranded sky thing, but it seems ok...

Thanks dudes, just found through IJPs link that O2 offers up to 20mb for 15 a month!

I use Be which is owned by O2 and is how they got into the uber fast broadband service.
Up to 24Mbps if you're close enough to the exchange, although I connect at 16Mbps and have hit 14.5Mbps in download tests.

Unlimited downloads for £15 per month (same as O2, funny that...)

Had it for a few years now and not had many problems.  It got proper slow in the evenings at the beginning of this year but it's got better since, not quite as good as it once was but not far off.

Yar, thanks, we are looking at going with O2, they seem the best..
