As stewie says, its warm out. Temps have been in the 90˚F's since we got here with humidity at around 105%.

Infact it was so nice and warm last night we figured we would become true rednecks and had a tailgate in the motel parking lot

It was still above 80˚F at 10pm when we walked into start packing

No good news, regarding the transmission, I'm affraid.

We took it to a really sound bloke here in Little Rock but he just couldn't get the parts (it's unfortunately rare).

So we're setting off in 7 hours with a failing failed front seal on the "slim jim" tranny.

So far so good.  We put about 250 miles on her today with no major problems.

We're keeping an eye on the tranny fluid level . . . also I got a shock off of one of the spark plug leads checking said level.

Silly Pontiac design . . . .

they are notoriously hard to get parts for!

Roadkill

Yup, dropped by Pontiac after just a couple of years, unsurprisingly.

Is that a new purchase (looking at your avatar) ???
